Introduction

Welcome to P-Tag and its related hardware and software (collectively, the "Product" or "Service"). We value your privacy and the protection of personal information. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains how P-Tag handles privacy-related matters and the rights you have when using it.

P-Tag is a mobile app used to connect to compatible e-ink tracker devices and transfer images to the device screen. This Policy describes how the app and related Product features handle information, and applies to the current version.

Please read this Policy carefully before using P-Tag. By starting to use P-Tag, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Policy.

1. About P-Tag

2. Whether We Collect Your Personal Information

Under normal use, we do not collect, store, use, or share your personal information for cloud services, including but not limited to:

P-Tag has no login system and does not send user data over the network. Certain feature-related records are stored only on your phone locally, as described below.

3. Location

Location features depend on your phone's system capabilities, as follows:

Android

To enable location or Bluetooth-related features, Android may require you to grant location permission. Please note:

iPhone

On iPhone, location-related capability is provided through Apple's built-in Find My app. P-Tag does not require you to separately enable location permission for the companion app. Use of Find My and its data processing are governed by Apple's system rules and privacy policy. P-Tag does not separately collect or upload your location data.

4. Photos, Camera, and Image Transfer

5. Bluetooth

6. Device Configuration

P-Tag may request model parameters from a device configuration service so images can be transferred with the correct screen specifications. That request does not include an account and does not upload your photos.

7. Language Settings

The display language you choose in P-Tag is stored only on this device.

8. Storage and Control

9. Permission Principles

We follow a minimum-necessary principle when requesting permissions:

10. Third Parties and System Services

P-Tag may rely on system capabilities such as Bluetooth, photo library, and camera access. On iPhone, location-related capability is provided through Apple's Find My app. Those system capabilities are managed by the device maker or system provider and are subject to their privacy policies and terms. This Policy covers only P-Tag's own practices and does not apply to third-party system services (including Find My).

11. Minors

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, please read this Policy and use P-Tag under the guidance of a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians should keep the device secure and supervise use appropriately.

12. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Policy based on product changes or applicable legal requirements. Updated versions will be published appropriately and apply to the current version. Continued use of P-Tag after an update means you agree to the updated Policy.

13. Contact Us

If you have questions, comments, or suggestions about this Policy or privacy matters, please contact us at support@jadens.com. You may also contact us through the P-Tag store listing page, product documentation, packaging, or other official channels.

14. Applicable Law and Miscellaneous

We handle information as described in this Policy and in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including applicable U.S. federal and state privacy laws, and applicable Canadian federal and provincial/territorial privacy laws (such as Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and relevant provincial privacy laws).

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

This Policy is an important explanation of privacy matters for P-Tag. If a specific product notice conflicts with this Policy, that specific notice prevails.
